The quilt is so cute, so sorry to hear about the first recipient's rudeness. But glad it went to someone who would appreciate the work and love that went into making it.

Bless you dear sweet lady and have no worry that gal will get hers for I truly believe what goes around comes around . I'm so happy that you found it's true home, for that was a very sweet and cute Baby Quilt.
    Hugs for you.

It's hard to imagine anyone not loving this darling little quilt. It just goes to show, not all are worthy of owning a quilt. I'm sooo glad you were able to retrieve it and give it to someone who appreciated it. We all have different tastes... choose your reciepients carefully.

Wonderful ending! Some people have NO social skills so the first one doesn't deserve a thing! Sweet quilt btw!

Good For You! Taking back a gift made with loving thoughts from a little ingrate. I know it is hard to give things to people and to later find out that they do not appreciate the work and time given to create that gift. I have a ex-daughter-in-law that my aunt gave a quilt to and she gave it to her mother. I don't even have a quilt from this aunt! My son coult not get it back. I love the young lady that finally did get your quilt loves it so. You know her grandchildren will love that quilt also.

Sorry to say that I have had similar experience with giving quilts as gifts. They don't seem to understand the time that goes into making a quilt and would rather have something made in China. LOL

That is terribly rude of the first recipient. So glad you got it back and didn't get her another gift. She didn't deserve it. As for the second one, that is where it was meant to be I'm sure. Glad you kept it around and found the right person to gift it to.

Had this happeb to me too. My DIL requested a denium rag quilt for the grandaughter. It was too linty. The idiot put it in her basement. Hoping she will bring it to visit and I will retrieve it.
