    Default Watermelon Bag

This zippered bag was a gift for DD who is loving the watermelon theme. It did turn out cute! I still have leftover fabric, so, I'm thinking crossbody bag, too.

That is precious! I know someone who LOVES watermelon. I think she could live on it forever! She would love a bag like this. I like the unique handles on the bag. What type of glitzy trim did you use? Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, all! I ordered the fabric and ribbon on Amazon. I stitched the ribbon to one side of the cotton webbing handles, but when turned right side out and held up, the ribbon didn't show. So I had to add the ribbon to other side of handle.

This bag has a cool, summery vibe! Makes me think of a picnic or tea and chill in a garden on a summer afternoon.

It looks like a very safe way to carry a melon from the store and into the house.
