    I vote for white background. I believe that there are three blocks that have one square reversed. Two are on the yellow/gold background (top right and bottom left block) and one on the white background (bottom left block). It is an easy flip to make but, best of all, will be easy to correct. The flipped square is in the same position of each of the three blocks.

    How about a nice navy to bring out more blue in case they don't care much for purple (lol - I love purple).

    I like the purple. It really makes the colors in the blocks stand out, showing off the blocks! Great job! :thumbup:

    I personally like the purple or the white, but use whichever one you like best.

    I'm thinking make 2 borders with 2 of the colors white/purple or white/yellow to make it pop out. Or sash it with white and border with the purple or yellow? They are pretty, I am fixing to start this pattern for a quilt in red/white/blue.
