    Default Wedding Mug Rugs

My daughter is getting married in June with a destination wedding, but wants to give guests a Kansas welcome bag filled with Kansas themed things. My contribution was to make these sunflower wool appliqué mug rugs since sunflowers are our state's flower. I used a Cricut Maker to cut all of the wool circles and sunflowers--what a timesaver and perfect cuts. Hand appliquéd everything together. Making 50 of them was enough!

Great work! Was the lettering done by machine embroidery? Your hand work is beautifully done.

What nice gifts to give in the guest bags. They will really be appreciated. Aren't you glad it's not going to be a big wedding with 250 guests!?
