    Here is the top complete except for the borders. I was thinking the black border then the seaweed? Opinions please. I didnt use the swimming whales I thought that was to busy.

    I really like it! I think the black, then the seaweed would look super!

    I agree, the small strip of black and that pretty seaweed that draws the purples and pinks out in your focus fabric.

    Well I think you did a great job. I like the black border but not the seaweed so much. Whatever you decide will make it beautiful.

    Brings back memories of one of my all time favorite vacations in Bar Harbor, ME. The kids and I went on a whale watching tour which according to the guides "was one of the best they'd ever been on." We saw whale after whale after whale. They came up right under us and were using the bubbles produced by the ships motors like their own private whirlpool. It was beautiful! So's your quilt by the way!
