    Hi Everyone!

I'm almost done with my latest quilt! But I would love your imput... what color thread would you use to quilt this? I've always used only white, but this quilt is cream. What do you think about green on top and cream on the bottom? Any other ideas? Thanks everyone! :)

Are you wanting the quilting to stand out, if so you could choose a color that coordinates with the colors in your quilt, or a bit of a darker creme thread would be more of my choice. By the way, I think it's absolutely beautiful.

if you really want green, I would practice on something else first to see if you like the way it looks. I would use a cream or maybe a really light pink

oops, I forgot to tell you how pretty your quilt is ;-)

I'd suggest using the same color top and bottom thread. It can be tricky doing FMQ and using different colors. The tension has to be absolutely perfect throughout or you'll see the bottom thread color pop through to the top.

I don't know about the thread color but I sure know this is a beautiful quilt. Please share another picture when it is completed.

I like cream. But would gold or silver look nice?

My gosh!! That is beautiful!! I sure don"t think I would like using green, stick to cream, or as the other lady said, silver, or gold, or even a bronze. I think the bronze wold look sharp and pick up the red tone color. Carol

I'd probably go with a variegated red on the top and cream on the bottom.
