I received this with the latest order from Hancocks of Paducah. Two of the fabrics that I had ordered were out of stock. I was not charged for the panel. Title of the fabric is Saturday Evening Post by Quilting Treasures.

I really need suggestions for this one. The quality of the fabric is wonderful. The color pallette is one I would ever work in but I guess it is good to be challenged.

Wow! It's kinda neat but I got nothing...hmmm....I'm sure someone on here will come up with something wonderful though. I think it's got a 50s look...hmm...

I don't have any ideas for you, but I do like the panel.

Having a fettish for black and red quilts I would start cutting this up and adding strips around the different pictures and do some black ,white and red blocks to intersperse between. I think it would be a striking quilt. A real conversation piece.

My first thought was to leave the panel as is and just add some red and black borders.
My second thought is to cut it up, make wonky blocks out of the big ones and then somehow incorporate the smaller blocks in a border along with red and black.
I'm sure you'll get lots more suggestions too.

OMG!!!! This is full of possibilities. I agree with the black and white with reds and other primary colors interspersed between the blocks. I love this panel!!!

I like the suggestions you have gotten already and am looking forward to hearing more. You could use the smaller blocks in the border and maybe in the quilt too. What fun fabric! You could add blue to this too if you wanted along with the red & black.

I think it looks like some sort of purse or tote.

Looks like there are four unique large squares. I would cut them apart, sash with red, black, and purple. Then use the smaller squares to make it larger or as corner stones. Might make a cool wall hanging. Or a lap quilt for an older person who read the Sat. Evening Post (like me!). I read Life and SEP at my grandparents house as there was nothing else interesting to read when I spent time there as a kid.
