It reminds me of cake also. It's a show stopper for sure and very cheerful. You gotta be proud of yourself for getting it finished.
One question. How does one take care of a yo yo? Wouldn't they come apart when laundered?

Oh, I hope not.....10 years down the drain, literally!!! I'm thinking when it's time, I'll put it in a very large pillowcase....wash on gentle and keep my fingers crossed!!! While eating cake, of course!!!! lol

WHAT A TREAT TO VIEW ALL THE OLD PRINTS IN YOUR YO-YO FROM THE 40'S AND 50'S. YOU CAN FEEL THE LOVE THAT WENT INTO IT. TREASURE IT.

I love the colors and the larger yo-yo's. Beautiful!! I'm posting a picture of my old one. I don't know what to do with it. Just can't get rid of it tho.
I think it's got some really pretty colors in it. IMHO I would suggest taking them apart and putting them back together into some kind of pattern. I think it looks too random and too busy the way it is. Just my opinion, sorry.

The quilt is stunning and so soft and pastel looking. Definitely looks like icing. Blends right in with the soft colors of the room. Just beautiful. Looks like a picture out of an elegant magazine. If that is the guest room, can't imagine how beautiful the master bedroom looks. Terrific Job!!!!
