    Beautiful!

    I made that pattern for a table topper. Can you explain how you did it, I'm not understanding the "five rows" you talk about.

    I used the center square and then added five rows of 2" strips to each side. I believe if you look at the pattern there are six rows added to the table runner but that would have made it hang too far over the mantel.

    I'd suggest that any one who was doing this as a mantel scarf would check after four rows to see if it is long enough!

    Me again. Did you make the scarf twice and cut it down the center, then join all four pieces together? I saw where you added less stripes to yours. Sorry, but I do better when I see things. :roll:

    Yes... I made two identical runners and cut diagonally through the beginning square of fabric. Four pieces.
