    It is beautiful. The technique for making this piece has me wondering? did you use a technique that had you lay a piece of black netting over the design before quilting, or are the pieces, especially the leaves, larger pieces of fabric? I love wall hangings like this especially in fall colors.. Well done.

    As with most of my nature work the confetti background is under netting and stitched in place before the foreground work. Thanks for asking

    Oooh, I hope it's ok, I've just saved that one as a desktop image so I can gaze at it...it's so peaceful and lovely - and we don't get snowy woods around here! I especially love the color of the snow at the bottom around the base of the trees...I *remember* that reflected color on the snow towards evening when I was a kid! It's really something.

    So pretty, and very creative. I would love to try to do a free form quilt like that, but it would probably end up looking like a 3-year old's scribbling.
