    To put it simply - I DO NOT LIKE SEAMS. I made a quilt out of 5" hexies and they all had to be connected with Y seams. Never again. Yours look very good.

    Great quilt! I wouldn't have thought of those color combinations either but you did a fabulous job. When I did a similar quilt a couple of decades ago I pieced it all by hand so not horrible. I've since done Y seams by machine and, as you say, once you get the hang of it, they're really not so horrible.

    I'm so impressed with your quilt and how the hexie blocks were achieved. The 3D effect is stunning. Great job!
