Love your quilt. The colors and your quilting are perfect and 3 D effect WOW.

I was afraid of Y seams too, I bought a Krista Moser kit and it sat in my to do projects for years because after buying I read directions and "Y" seams. Finally tackled it after reading and watching posts on sewing them, they were less terrifying than I thought. Can't say they are a favorite but would not cause me to reject a pattern if I liked it.

This quilt was an amazing challenge! It is a visual beauty for sure. Who knew this color combo would be so beautiful together? Congrats!

What size was the half hexie you used as your quilt seems to have been a large size to fit a maybe twin bed?- Toogie
Thanks, Toogie! I used an AccuQuilt Half- Hexagon die #55437, and the sides finish at 4-1/4", so it makes a large quilt, 64" x 82".
