    Hoping the mods/admin read this.

Newest member is "zithromax antibiotics" with questionable info in profile. Can pretty much guarantee that's a spammer.

Might be worth reviewing new members when they join

There's a little triangle with an exclamation point in it below the user id. If you click on that, you can report the post to the admins.

You can't report until they post. There have been numerous new members with pharmaceutical users names and most list country of residence as NI = Nicaragua.

Yes, you just click the red triangle to report it.

it can take hours every day to review new registrations.
there was a time i'd do that.
    eventually i got overwhelmed.

luckily most of them never post anything.

also, members are getting better at reporting suspicious posts so we can catch and eliminate them quickly.

From my understanding there is a plug-in for vBulletin https://www.stopforumspam.com/mods#link_vb that will prevent them from registering so that moderators don't have to monitor.

Oh goodness, on another forum there must have been 20 "hits" of spam this morning. I voted to make new comers wait for approval there. they don't do this now, but this is getting sad!
