Thumbs down Why does it take soooooo long to type a post???

Is it just me..... or are others experiencing a "lag" time when typing a post?

What should take me a few seconds to type is taking Forever, because of a lag time for each key stroke. It is like some type of back-end process is running.

This should have been posted in QB Help Section. You need to tell what type of a device you are using and what operating system so that you can get the help you need. Could it be that you don't have any blocker software running?? Many of us run Adblocker while on this site as well as others.

I was curious to see if others may be experiencing the same issue. I have worked in the IT field for over 20 years and recognize a 'backend process' when I see one. An ad blocker does not cause a lag with every key stroke. It seems to be a type of automated spell checker.

It happens to me on other sites as well but can't remember what I did but QB helped. Think it has something to do with settings.

    Search for delayed type.

It is probably your settings for the forum. Go to Settings at the top of the page, then to General Settings under My Account on the left of the page. Under Miscellaneous Options, change Message Editor Interface to Standard Editor. I hope this works for you.
