I just finished baking up a batch of these, and boy, are they good! My Mom got this recipe from the Warrens, Wisconsin Cranberry Festival---

1/2 cup butter (1 stick), softened
    1 cup sugar
    3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
    1/4 cup milk
    2 Tbsp. orange juice
    1 egg
2 1/2 cups fresh cranberries, coarsely chopped (I always keep whole cranberries in my freezer, so I put them in the food processor frozen and whirl to a coarse chop for this recipe)
    3 cups sifted flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 cup chopped nuts

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Cream butter and sugars together. Beat in the milk, OJ and egg. Sift together dry ingredients. Combine dry ingredients with creamed mixture and blend well. Stir in chopped nuts and cranberries. Drop by tsp. full onto GREASED cookie sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until dry on top. The color will barely change.
Makes about 3 dozen tea sized cookies.

    Enjoy!! :-P :-P :-P

This sounds like such a yummy cookie....I just printed it off so I can make some tomorrow. My turn to bring snack for fellowship time at church this Sunday, so yet again, I am "guinea pigging" with a new recipe. I tend to do that a lot!!! LOL
