    Default Homemade Fermented Hot Sauce

As you can see...I'm on a fermenting kick right now.

Last Christmas, my daughter gave us all a bottle of her fermented hot sauce. It was amazing! I want to make some this year. Now is the time to get the pepper plants started in the garden, so I'll have lots of peppers for my sauce. I'm not sure what kind of peppers to plant, but they should be Hot. No wimpy peppers allowed!

The recipe is pretty straight forward, just brew it like you would sauerkraut, with salt and water, weigh it down and strain after it's ready. Pour into bottles and keep in the fridge, or else it will keep fermenting.

PS: I wish that there was a gardening category on QB.
