Some years back a friend of the family would bring a cellophane rice/seasoning pack from a local restaurant that was called "Green Rice"

This friend lived in the Kansas City, MO area.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? This was the best rice dish I ever had so I would love to know the restaurants name or get the recipe if possible.
    Thank you.

I think I just found it. I found out that the restaurant in Kansas City was called Stephensons. They are no longer in business but still sell their seasoning mixes.

I'm pretty sure this is the one so I ordered some. I'm HAPPY.

Would you share the contact info for the green rice seasoning. I too remember it from years ago passing through KC.
    Thanks, Ann Benton

I ordered 4 pkgs. and they arrived in today's mail. Guess what we're having as part of tomorrow's dinner!

    Glad you found it.
