Saw the recipe for Boyfriend Fudge and thought I'd share my favorite white fudge recipe. Given to me by a friend and requested at all of our church get-togethers during the holidays... This is truly WONDERFUL...so watch out or you may eat too much!

    Wonderful White Fudge
Toast 1 cup pecans at 350 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes. Dot with butter before cooking....

Mix 2/3 c condensed milk (not evaporated, condensed) with 1- 12 oz. package white chocolate chips.

Melt until smooth. Add 1/4 tsp. vanilla. Stir in pecans. Place in foil lined 8" x 8" dish. Cut into squares before completely hardened...

Don't you have to cook it? Surely warm pecans doesn't melt the choc chips etc.

I'm sorry... I said melt... meant over medium high heat in a sauce pan. Stir until smooth and then add pecans.

The toasted pecans give it a wonderful, nutty taste! Love it!

Sounds like a good Christmas gift! But I have 2 questions:

    1) Do you mean sweetened condensed milk?

    2) Does the fudge have to be kept under refrigeration?

    Thanks.
