    It is just beautiful. You did a great job. Thanks so much for the directions. Just wondering - if you're unsure about the cuts, do you think that sewing the window bits on top of the panel would work?

    Sounds like that would work for something intricate. Isn't that the way some of the stained glass quilts are done? (Bias "leads" on top of the pieced or wholecloth quilt top to do the separations)?

    Do you mean like making the whole panel into a window? I am sure it would work, it may no show as much depth, but sure it will be one big window with no panes separating the scene.
