    How wide do you usually cut the selvedges? I must not be doing it right....mine are not nearly wide enough to use for anything....

    I cut my selvages anywhere from 1 1/2" to 4" depending on how much of the fabric I want showing.
    I don't bother with any selvage that doesn't have at least a scant 1/4" at the edge.
    They've outgrown their 15" square box. I buy way too much fabric.
