    Thank you so much for the potholder tutorial. When ever my hubby's jeans are too wore out to wear in public and are retired to the trash bin I will cut out the good section and save. So now I have a use for them.

    Kathy Kat - nice work, I love the fabrics you used!

    Patty S - my husband's work jeans are so stained and faded when he's done with them that potholder filling is all they are good for! I wouldn't want to use them in a denim quilt where you could actually see them.

    I laughed when I read this because I recently made my mom three or four. I was looking through her kitchen drawers, and I kid you not, she has potholders that are over 20 years old (I know, because one was a mother's day gift I made at school and it had the date on it).
