Yesterday I made a bus quilt (42X60" aprox) with 9 panels and today another one. Today's was different in that the batting I used only had the fusible sticky stuff on one side so I used it to hold the backing on and pinned the panels as I sewed them on the front.
One of the pluses for me, with this method, are I don't worry about my seams being exactly any exact size, I can use up scraps (as long as they are at least full fabric width (42") and wide enough to give me a panel. Also, I have arthritis in my hands, so the less pinning I do the longer I can sew.
Someone has offered to post pictures for me. I will try to get them to her post haste. Frankly, I'm tired right now.
I know some of you have given up on me, but most of you have been very patient and all replies have been very kind and often very informative. Love this group.

Hello Everyone! So sorry about the no pictures; I really thought I could post them, but something has changed about my computer or about my brain. On Sept 22 I am meeting with other QBs and I am confident that one of them will be able to post my pictures up. I'm taking step by step photos for those of you who haven't done this type before. In the meantime I've done 3 more!. Happy quilting trails........

I haven't started quilting yet..my plan (LOL) is to start in the colder days/months. My niece just asked me to do a tie quilt using Smurfs for her daughter. But I just might do one of these as I already did a tie quilt using Disney Princesses. I hope by then I can find Smurf material (if just a panel would be fine with me). Then if all goes well with my 1st one....all I have to do is 6 more for other great nieces and nephews using different panels/designs/material. :lol:
