So the treadle would most likely be before they joined forces with Westinghouse, but this site can give you some history and names to search on that might be closer to what you want!

Does it look like these, or does it have a round bobbin?

There are some other Free machines, besides the ones that Leon posted. You might try
    "free sewing machine company" treadle
as your search term with the quotation marks. I believe Free Sewing Machine Company started about1898.

We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf
Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button.

Hi! I have not posted a reply on someone else's post before, and I dont want to step on anyone's toes. I'm brand new here. But in case you are still looking for info, I found this youtuber when I was researching my new old Standard Rotary. He has a series of 6 lengthy but helpful posts on his Free Rotary find.
