Grover & Baker sewing machine 1861 Ross Marshall cabinet
Hi folks just found this beautiful old machine and hoping to find out more about it. It has the manual and several attachments. The lovely old cabinet is marked and last copyright is 1858. I am starting to clean it up. Can’t find the upload for photos. Will submit as soon as I figure it out.

Welcome. We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf

Wow!!!!!! that is one beautiful machine. I also noticed that it has an oil can. The dates are patent dates. It looks like it is a model 8. I was able to see some model 9s that have been refurbished. Be careful cleaning that up. Don't want to ruin anything.
