Default Help for identifiying a Singer in a bentwood case model

    Hi,
I saw this ad for a nice Singer in a bentwood case:

    http://montreal.kijiji.ca/c-acheter-et-vendre-maison-interieur-autre-Machine-a-coudre-SINGER-PORTATIVE-PORTABLE-SEWING-MACHINE-W0QQAdIdZ544441491

It comes with a Singer 15-88/15-89 model manual, but isn't supposed to have a spoke wheel? Also, I can't see any motor showing on the side. Could it be a 15-91? I already have one who will get a new home once I'll have rewired the potted motor; so I don't want another one. But I could use a belted model for my daughter.
The sellers wants 75$ for it. What do you think?
    Thanks!

From the blurry picture to me it looks like a 15-91.

it could be any of the 15- until you see the back, or a clear enough shot to identify belt or potted motor.

It's a 15-91. From the angle, if the external motor was there, you would be able to see it below the arm. There is a site that explains and shows pictures, and if you can not see the motor, you can tell by the angle which motor you are not seeing LOL!

Thanks everyone; you were right, I got another blurry picture from the seller and there is indeed a potted motor.
If only it would have been a 15-90, I would have been able to justify the buy... I would have love to get the nice bentwood case.

Carol, take a good look at the front of the machine - where the tension dial is. If your "201" actually looks like that, then sorry, you don't have a 201, you have a 15. The 201 looks quite a bit different than a 15, other than the round reverse lever plate.
