Yes, definitely a challenge, without a picture.

We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf
Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button.

I have found that only the big red "Reply" button or "Quote" work to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures.

Some additional info regarding reducing images at post #4 and images for the scroll and upload button can be found at #5 of quilt block ID?

Or simply - Make sure pictures are smaller than 2MB
    Click on red "Reply" button
Click on the paper clip icon
Click browse - choose picture/s. (only 5 allowed per post)
Once they show up as being loaded, Scroll over to the right side and click on "Upload"
After the pictures show up as being attached, you can close that window and go back to the screen to finish posting your post.

Default photos of the mystery sewing machine

Sorry if the photos of the mystery sewing machine are not visible. I see them OK in my preview.
I have put them at https://photos.app.goo.gl/oo4c2TP2U8po6xBH9 to overcome any file dize issues.
    Thanks.

That is a challenge. I found the logo - http://needlebar.org/main/logos/grimmnat/index.html
Here a couple of other links - http://www.unicumf.de/G&N2.html http://www.sewmuse.co.uk/Grimme,%20N...%20machine.htm it might be a ORIGINAL PRINZESS eigenes System You may have to search for all languages and use a translation tool? Grimme Natalis is a good search term.

I love looking at these old machines but have absolutely no desire to own one! That being said, I am always amazed at the variety and number of manufacturers. Thanks for posting.

I don't know if where you posted the picture automatically reduce the images, but it looks like the ones you posted a link to would work great on QB. Would you mind if I went ahead and downloaded and then post them here? or you could I like researching stuff and when the images are off site, they have a tendency to disappear and makes research that much harder.

I forgot to mention that someone had called the animals seahorses, but then when you look closer maybe dragons. Also it appears that the company later predominately manufactured calculating machine.

Thank you. I noticed that there are a couple of places that the Mother of Pearl was still on the machine. I'll divide it into two posts as there is a number limit of 5 per posts. There was another of the underside that I'm omitting and the video won't post to QB.

Here are the fist five pictures of Dom's Grimme Natalis.

Just a reminder you can either click or right click on the thumbnail pictures to bring up a full size image. If you right click you can open in a new tab or window. If you just click you will have to use the "Back" icon to come back to this page.
