Very cool looking. I was curious about this model and looked it up on ISMAC'S:

The serial number L1165125 dates it to 1901. Seems like a handy machine for the Amish.

Very cool!! The New York State Fair has a Singer Number 1 in the Witter Agricultural Museum. I demo there every year on a treadle that I donated. The Fair starts Aug 22nd this year.

That's interesting an interesting link, Jon. When I did family research I found out from the 1901 census that my grandmother worked as a harness stitcher when she was young. Now I can imagine the type of machine.
