At $1650 they should have at least repainted the body.
The scroll saw is kind of cool except one thing: This guy found a trashed sewing machine but usually you can find vintage scroll saws for the same or less than what sewing machines cost.
Vintage woodworking machines and woodworking are my other two major hobbies. Woodworking has a lot in common with sewing. In both hobbies the vintage machines often cost less than the material you feed thru them and we buy them for the same reasons. Unless you're spending thousands, the quality of the old stuff is so much better than new machines.
As for the 99 for $250,000 I don't even know what to say. Maybe Miriam is looking to retire.
I think I'm going to watch that one and see if it sells. If it does, I'll part with one of mine...

I love Steampunk - It's such a hoot. Some people take it oh so seriously but I think there's a Rube Goldberg quality that incorporates humor into Steampunk. Some of it is downright nasty but mostly it's a lot of fun - except at that price.
