Default Vintage Standard R35 Reverse Button?

Hello to all, I’m excited to join and learn from all of you. I bought a Standard R35 cabinet machine that is in perfect condition and has all its manuals and accessories (what a find)! I just can’t figure out how to make it go into reverse🤪, any and all help is appreciated. TIA!!

    Welcome peggoene

There is a thread about your machine ( perhaps) already.

    Standard R35

The thread is old but may be helpful. if your machines is the black cast iron one as shown there, it may be one of our beloved machines that does not have reveres. You start and stop your seam by turning the fabric to nail down your stitches. I am sure someone else can describe that better.
