Default Welcome Lucy to my sewing machine family!

I bought this Sears Kenmore 158-5000 today at a house that was having a yard sale. I named her Lucy because for some reason I looked at her and Lucille Ball came to mind! hahahaha My mind does strange things sometimes but I kinda like it! hahahahaha! As you can see from the picture attached she comes with all kinds of goodies!! Anyone want to guess what I paid for her?

My guess is $25? She would be a bargain at $50 but a terrific bargain at $25.

I got her for $10 she has all the cams, a brand new hook in the original box still in it's plastic bag, all the attachment for the button holer and an extra 5 more of them. The manual and all I need to do is make sure she sews . Which I'm going to do here shortly! She also has in her button holer box an extra foot and the needle plate cover to use free motion! YAY I'm excited!! She was definiately a bargain!

Sewred I love your location. It is ideal. Glad you hit the jackpot on that machine. Happy sewing. Hugs

The old Kenmores are wonderful! Sturdy and they rarely complain about being used. Congratulations.

I did some swapping around and she sews beautifully! Now I do have to find a needle clamp screw someone had taken it out and some Kenmore 6702 needles. Then we'll be in business!
