Someday, I hope my hubby will build me a reproduction from the plans available for this cabinet.

I have one too! They are maple and were originally stained a reddish maple color. Mine had damaged veneer, so when I had it repaired, I had it refinished in cherry as well. It goes with my household furniture better. I love mine! Even more rare are the ones that had a lift inside for the Featherweight. Where did you find it???

I found it at a flea market for $35. It is missing the spool holder .

I've looked for years for one of these and have never even seen one in person let alone been able to buy one. The closest I came was seeing one advertised on Kijiji (Canadian version of Craig's List) for $1200 and that just wasn't feasible. You are very lucky and that seller sure didn't know what they had.
