It is a 99
Picked up my new baby in the dog buggy yesterday.
It is a 99k and beautiful and clean. It was an amazing place with some very very very beautiful machines. Definately going back. May become an addict. What is someone called who is addicted to old sewing machines?..
Looking up the serial number as you read.
If it is FA THEN 1935
If it is EA then 1937
Mum would have been 21 sometime around then and was given her first singer sewing machine hand crank . Which dad converted to electric about 1945.

What is it called when someone is addicted to old sewing machines? My first thought was a Quilting Board Member!!
I believe we are all addicted in some way or other, and we are definitely enablers! Well, a lot of us anyway.

On Treadleon, we call it SMAD Sewing Machine Addiction Disorder. Does not matter if it is treadle, handcrank or electric, a machine is a machine. I do not have a large collection compared to others . I have over 60 machines.
