Brenda, she sews like a dream! :) I just worked on a belt made of heavy duty nylon for a paintballer friend of mine, and she whipped thru that nylon and vinyl like it was sheer silk!

She was commissioned on November 9, 1945 and the next run was commissioned in April of 1946. Judging from her serial number, I'm guessing that she was born Jan/Feb of 1946... She's got some blackside parts that indicate that the dates are accurate...the presser foot lever, stitch regulator lever, some of the screws, etc. are all blackside, along with several of her attachments. :)
