Default Attachments for Featherweight 221-

I have decided to sell my featherweight. I have acquired quite a few Singer attachments and was wondering how do I tell if these attachments will work with this machine? If they will work I am selling them with the Featherweight.
I've been searching on the internet but no luck so far. Thank you.

The attachment set I have for my featherweight is the standard set that fits most vintage straight needle short shank machines. It includes all the ones listed in the original users manual. If you want to include the buttonhole &/or zigzag attachments you could do so but they were purchased separately.

If you google Featherweight 221 attachments, you will see a lot of sights. There is a blog that has every thing you wanted to know about the 221. They even have the attachments listed. http://singerfeatherweight221.blogsp...hments_19.html

Here are a couple of other links for Featherweight attachments.

Basically any low shank foot for straight stitch machines will work with a Featherweight. Most of the feet and attachments that meet that description will also work on many low shank zig-zag machines (of course you can't zig zag stitch). I used to use the Singer buttonholer and other Singer feet on my zigzag Alco machine (bought new in 1972).

Many (but not all) of the Singer feet and attachments have numbers on them, but some other makers do also.
Perhaps, if you have something that isn't listed in one of the above links, you can post the number and/or picture with something for scale. Maybe someone would know what it is and machine/s it goes with.

Featherweights use low shank attachments.
