Yeah, everyone with a vintage/antique Singer thinks they have a gold mine....unless of course they know us here on the VSMS, and then we tell them the real facts!! LOL

I don't think so. That is not an 1864 Singer. It is a model 27. I looked at the six digit serial number which is not very clear and the beginning number is 103 or 108. This machine was allotted January 1 1908. The D series were produced from 1908 to 1909.

Caroline, good catch! the machine is definitely not from the 1860's. And not worth what they are asking.
