Bobbin Case missing screw (not tension screw)

I have a Singer Featherweight Model 221-1 that has been working perfectly for many, many years! I've lose the little screw off the swing arm piece that holds it to the body of the case. This is the part that slides out when the screw is out. Without this screw, the 2 pieces don't hold together. This screw is so tiny, the head fits down in the slot inside the bobbin case.

Anyone know know where I can find a replacement for this screw?

Thanks

Do you have your instruction manual? Many times it will show parts to a machine & give you a part # & you can find it by the #. Here's a link I found to parts for your machine. Click on hardware & there are some screws there.

I'm pretty sure you are referring to the "gib screw"
I'm guessing you have gone over the area and/or the case with a magnet. There are two styles of bobbin cases. if you go to https://singer-featherweight.com/blo...vicing-manuals and download the service manual for the 221, you will see the differences on page 19 of the pdf. You could check here https://singer-featherweight.com/products/gib-screw (if you have the old style, you might want to double check which style that one is for) It looks like there are both styles at http://shop.sew-classic.com/Misc-Scr...teners_c26.htm

Both places are recommended and both have been helpful if you call to make sure you are getting the correct part for your machine.

If it is the gib screw, it looks like this place has it.

I think you are talking about the Gib screw. April 1930 's sew shop has all kind of parts. I just ordered tension spring for my 301. Great service.
