Default Broke my $50 rule

I have this rule never to spend over $50 for a machine I really don't need. Of course I do. So when I saw the 500A in a cabinet on Craigslist for $75, I backed off. BUT, I kept lurking.

Last week I checked again and it was still there with a price of $60.00. So, 60 is close to 50, right? Right.

Another road trip up north. It was perfect. Not a scratch on it and it came with a ton of cams. Didn't have the attachments but I believe my 401 attachments will fit.

Got it home and set it up and it sews like a dream.

Yeah, for me! I'll just eat hot dogs all week to make up the $10.00.

Rules were meant to be broken. Congrats on your 500A. Figure in the cost of buying the cams separately and you come in under $50 for the machine.

Good thinking and purchasing strategy. A good buy is worth much more than a disaster buy, so consider your purchase as manna from heaven.
