Whatever its original design was for I'm sure Quilters can get some use out of it in the sewing room. jmho.

Reminds me of all the neat, not really related items that end up with sewing attachments. Some are easier to understand- like drapery hooks and curtain weights - though getting a package of mounting clips for old roll up shades as a bit of a stretch.

Saw a picture of a bunch of attachments - seller had no idea what the one in the middle might be for. You could clearly read the word "Polaroid" on it. I have a feeling it might not have been sewing related.

I once bought a batch of attachments and in the mess was a set of ignition points. When I found them I laughed so hard my wife thought I was gonna blow a gasket. The points were right in the picture of the attachments as well and blended in so perfectly with the sewing machine parts I didn't see them.

I still have the points. Though what I'm gonna do with them is a good question.

I saw that, too!! It was a couple/few weeks ago. I remember looking the part up to see if it was valuable -- it wasn't. I am guilty of putting small items in my sewing basket for "safe-keeping". The sewing basket is handy, and I'm lazy.

I bought a machine - one with a door/drawer on the end of the cabinet. I opened it up and the lady paniced. Her late DH used to hide things. She didn't know/remember about the door/drawer on the end of the cabinet. So she looked in and said at least he didn't hide any money in it.

That's what I was thinking, but I never had one. Figured my hands (protected by a potholder, of course) would work on any oven rack pulling/pushing. LOL

I am with COOPAH.
That is why I asked if it was wood.

It is for pulling wire rack for the oven.

I have one and it is shaped like a squirrel.

I think Pam is correct. It is for removing caulk.

Is it made out of wood? If it is I believe it has nothing to do with sewing. It look like something that you pull the rack out of the oven with. One side you pull it out the top end you push it in. I have one that looks just like it.
