Damascus Treadle

My Damascus treadle sewing machine is #1881989, does anyone know where I can find a date for my machine? I was looking for more information on these sewing machines.

Damascus is usually a Badged National made for Montgomery Wards. If you research Montgomery Wards catalogs there is a good chance you will find your Damascus. The lady that has National dating information is in a part of the world without computer access. If you take a pic of your Damascus someone might be able to give a rough idea when it was made.
