Elgin 2468 proper threading
#2
I found a place to download a 2468 manual for $10 at https://www.tias.com/cgi-bin/rv.fcgi?itemKey=3923291409
A free manual for the 1145 can be found at https://www.singer.com/sites/default...e-s-1145-x.pdf which looks very similar to the 2468 as far as the threading is concerned. I will enlarge pdf files on my computer to better be able to see what I need to.

Up and runing good
I ordered all the parts that I needed for my Elgin 2468 and I replaced bobbin winder ring, bobbin case and shuttle and got my tension set . It's running beautiful now and I want to thank everybody who contributed to helping me get it running thank you.

Hello Bobby... I just acquired an Elgin 2468... would you be willing to share where you ordered your parts from? I am in US and am having a hard time finding anything for this machine. Thank you. Arianna

Welcome Arianna. Bobby hasn't been on for a few months. What kind of parts are you looking for?
