First mechanical job-I still smell oil, goop, and polish...

but Pauline is shining and ready to go!! This
machine was a local lady's grandma's sewing machine and she sewed wedding dresses and draperies on it. I saw it at an antique shop for $89.oo. She was in pretty good shape, just dirty. Took her all apart and cleaned and polished and put her back together, then went over her cabinet which is in exellent condition. I wish it were my grandma's, but I am delighted and can't wait to learn to sew on a treadle.

I assure you, she is beautiful!! I haven't gotten her all figured out and running smoothly, but will keep working on it. I cannot believe that the family sold this machine! It was their Grandmother's and they are all sewers to this day!! I have been told that their home is full of old furniture, ect., so I guess that decided to let it go.
