Recently had older Kenmore serviced, and they misplaced the
Foot Control part. Machine is Model 1603 with a 3 prong
slotted (all 3 in a row) connection. Can anyone help?
Maybe you have an old, non-functioning machine that could
    spare this part? PM please

If they misplaced it, shouldn't they have to hunt one up and replace it?

    I think I found what you're looking for..at amazon...

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...Z5NWG09RD3TV9R

but the larger issue, to me...is that the repair shop needs to pay for this...or get busy and find yours. I used to do the books and inventory for a repair shop...and parts like that don't get tossed out..usually just misplaced. The squeaky wheel gets the grease...go down there and "squeak" till you leave with your foot pedal or cash. If you make a fuss, they will make you whole one way or another. Donna

I hope you didn't pay them. They owe you. I would be standing in the shop until they searched everywhere and found the missing part or forked over a check for another one. When it comes to my money for their service I don't back down.

Unfortunately I did pay for the new motor put on machine ... but I am
hesitating to call repairman. He is an elderly person with recent illnesses
for himself and wife ... and a very sweet man that I have used in the past
with no problems. Will try EBay as recommended, and other sewing parts
    sites.
