Bennett, I think it's because of the parlor cab... there's really nothing unique about Damascus machines, they can be really pretty girls tho... I think they were sold by Montgomery Wards, if my memory serves (which it often doesn't! )

Oh WOW, a Damascus Grand and a National Two Spool. Both are on my wish list. Sure wish I lived close. They would have been coming home to my house.

I'm with you Bennett! I also live in North Texas - and what I generally see isn't very good, and seems mostly overpriced (at least as compared to the deals/steals others find!!).
