I wonder how often we're bidding against other QB'ers?! ;^)

I would say more often than not. I do know that if I see a bidder that I know is a QB member I don't usually bid against them. Joe

You should bid against me, because I won't hesitate to bid against anyone. That's what auctions are.

CD,
I'll remember that if/when I see a bidder I think is you.

The whole "we shouldn't bid against each other" thing causes so much trouble amongst fellows on a board.
I've been involved in many avocations and at one time or another it comes up.
Truth is, to paraphrase CD, the point of an auction is that the item is freely available to the highest bidder.
Because I am watching an auction is no reason for another to back off of it.
We're all free to buy should we be willing to pay the price.

Not to mention that there are just as many enthusiasts who have no connection to this or any other forum.

How would anyone even know who the bidder is, unless the bidder revealed his/her identity?
