    Default FYI Singer 15 cabinet model for sale in IL

    Been perusing Craig's List this after noon and found this gem.
    { http://peoria.craigslist.org/atq/4334083455.html }
    It's a 1937 vintage, 1 of 40,000. I don't know what dash number it would be but it looks to be in nice condition.

    So, thought I'd post it and maybe help someone find a good machine.

    Cathy,

    Well, it's about a 5 ± hour round trip. And at this point there's no gas money or machine money to do it. That's why I was thinking of someone else.

    That one doesn't have the round stitch length selector that I'm used to seeing on model 15s. Does anyone know what the significance is? Is it a special edition like the silvers? The center medallion looks interesting too. If I had the money and wasn't half the US away I'd buy it just for those reasons alone.

    Looks like a 15-86. See the class 15 comparison chart on NeedleBar.

    Thanks! Looks like I'm just used to seeing the later models.
