Here is Miriam's fishing shack as she calls it! The door opens, but Glenn will have to post that photo - I only have the door shut!

It's the only machine I have up here at the cabin so it gets used for everything. The only thing I've discovered I can't do is to patch bluejean legs so that will have to wait until I go back downstate for the winter. I'm not fond of patching bluejeans anyway. I have a beautiful view of the lake while I sew and when we get our remodel done this summer I'll be spending even more time watching the loons and quilting. I hope Glenn enjoys his quilt..... I'm so glad I was invited to join in on it. Nancy did a wonderful job of putting it all together and all the blocks look so cute. Everyone should give themselves a pat on the back for the fine work they did. Okay, enough talk. Here's the picture.
Here is Jean's paper pieced fish! I have never paper pieced, but it looks fun!

Mine was hand appliqued, so there is no machine to post for mine. I can't post pictures anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter after all. But I'd like to see all of the pictures of the quilt posted here too. It turned out great!!!

I didn't take a picture of my block either. I cheated and didn't use a vintage machine. Someone gave me a fairly new Brother machine and I was trying it out. Most was appl. any way.
I too have enjoyed seeing all the different blocks that were created for Glenn.

Here is the block Janis made! I loved receiving this block - it is so colorful and has a school of fish instead of just one or two fish!

Ok another very fun block and great addition to the quilt! I loved the little "Skip" embroidered on the hat!

Crossstitcher, I like the can of worms that you have with Skip. That is a cute idea! And here's someone else that likes to do hand applique! I need to try doing some by machine some day!

Thank you everyone for posting pictures - I'm sure it will add an extra dimension to Glenn's enjoyment of the quilt.

I keep seeing more details. Nancy - what a great choice of backgound, I've just noticed the hooks and fly!

Here is Anamaria's, Grayhare's, block!I think she hand quilted this block and I quilted with free motion outlining around the fish and her piecing using my Singer 15-88 treadle.
