Grounding Vintage Sewing Machines

I remember back, oh so long ago, about the order of words in other languages. Since I had already read that another controller had been tried and having obtained different results, I could focus on the whole message rather than just one word. I feel sometimes we skim over text (especially when all the same font and color). I realize that there are differences in "street languages" such as forums and blogs versus "formal languages" such as text books and legal documents.

Actually, many people don't read that well. I spend a lot of time with children/young teens. Many can read, (by that, I mean they know what the words are) but they don't comprehend what they read (or maybe the nuances of what they read). It seems quite common that people don't notice things like you are pointing out. Maybe they are just skimming. Maybe they skipped a post or two. It's really quite common on message boards. It used to aggravate me, but I just think of the kids I tutor and it doesn't bother me so much.
