It's so pretty. No, I wouldn't pay that much, but it sure would be fun to have it. I have pieced my last 3 quilts on the mocha 301 I got in December. It's a wonderful machine.

I'm just the opposite, I'd like my car painted to match the decals I put on my quilting machine.

My Harley is purple! If I had that much extra cash, I would like that machine. But I don’t have it, so I’ll be content with my purple Harley.

Well, I don't like purple and I don't like the price! So I guess I won't be bidding on it

Well purple is my favorite color, but I wouldn't pay that much for it. I really don't need any more sewing machines, and can only use one at a time, lol. I already have 9 and that's plenty, I don't have room for any more. I have seen the FW's painted in purple and love their purple color, but I wouldn't spend the money they are priced a just for the color. I have two blacks 1935 and 193 and they work fine. Currently piecing a wedding quilt on the 1937. The color doesn't matter that much to me.

Ridiculous price! But it is beautiful, like a new car. Someone with more money than sense will surely buy it.

It gets my goat when people call the 301 the "featherweight's big sister". Bah. It's got a potted, gear driven motor which makes it way stronger than any featherweight... and it's Slant-O-Matic! The only similarity with the featherweight is the bobbin and case, and the lift up bed.

Love my 301s!

I can just picture someone a hundred years from now thinking, "Yeah, my great grandmother sure had more money than sense..."

And some historian saying there was a refurbishment of sewing machines during our era which resulted in these unique colors...

Sewbizgirl, it's not a potted motor, it's completely internal.

It's a bargain compared to this one. (Although, this one does come with a table)

It’s really pretty and they did a nice job. My 301 has a few wear marks and to me that is part of the charm. I wish it could tell it’s story
