Default Has Anyone Ever Lost a Machine

We have a full time RV couple who visit as they pass through twice a year. Last year the wife showed an interest in quilting. The only portable I had in our lake home was an Elna Supermatic. She took it with her and has become a devoted quilter, I assume with that machine. They will be passing through this weekend so I thought she might like a 403 in place of the Elna. I'll be damned if I can find it. Any other SMADs ever have this problem?😡

Oh yes. I lost a 66 lotus about a year ago and still haven't found it! My place is tiny though, so I probably gave it to someone and forgot. I'll let you know if I ever find it

I find machines I forgot about - just found a Domestic (White) that I keep forgetting about. It's in a bentwood case right under my ironing board - so I see it all the time, and completely forget about it!

just like I forgot about the second W&G chainstitch machine I have when I posted about now having four - I actually have five.

No, but I'd like to. I think some are going in the paper for a very low price.

I think you need your machine back, let her replace it with her own funds.
Something similar is why I do not have my 1951 FW. you try to be nice but ppl take advantage.

No, I gave it to her, but, thought the 401 might be a better piecer. I mislead everyone posting "she took it with her." More accurately, I gave it to her until I could find a more appropriate one to give her. Thinking the 401 fits that better, but, I can't find it.
