Default Help with a recent find

Hi, everyone. I am trying to research a machine that I just found. It is a Pfaff 103 that I found in a Kaiserslautern, Germany thrift store. She is in beautiful condition, just missing the manual and the key for the drawer under the table. There are even old bobbins, needles and thread in it. I went ahead and purchased it for €60 ($81-$82 US). I thought it was a steal so I ran with it! I've been searching the internet with no luck! I found some numbers on it once it lifted up the machine (2073 367). I would love any help I could get to try to date this little beauty! Thank you in advance.

Oh and if you're doing google, since this is a german machine try using the search term: Pfaff Nähmachine or Bedienungsanleitung Pfaff Nähmaschine 103 the long word in front of Pfaff is "User Manual" lol
you could also try asking here: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/oldpfaffpforum/info

Oh oh oh!! some one is selling a Pfaff 103 as 'junk' but he's including the manual: http://kleinanzeigen.ebay.de/anzeige...44148-250-7062 I'm not sure where it's located at... but since it's german... i'd say in a german speaking country. Maybe message him see if he'll pdf it for ya.

Er no go on the German forum i posted above. It's just photos of the machine. hmmm....

Apparently it threads similiar to a 34. So also look for that one. But i did turn up this video that is pretty interesting.

Thank you all for so much help! I'm going to and check everything out. I'm so nervous about ever trying to use it. Fingers crossed!

cool! With that video and my original user's manual in English for the 130, I could possibly learn to translate German

Quilt-T, don't be nervous about trying it out. These old gals like the attention and are very forgiving. The 130 at least threads up pretty much the same as any other vintage machine, I bet the 103 is similar.
